HEY! Quit it you big tease! :P At least you can tell us what you got!! It doesn't need to be pretty...we like before and after shots!! 8-) If that is it pictured at the bottom of your post then you really are a tease because me old eyes can't tell the difference between a Mosin and 03A3... :'(

Can't wait to see hear more about it.

By the way, how is the new job working out?

sorry, I've been gone for a while, just got switched to the night shift and my priorities have been elsewhere (getting used to sleeping during the day)

I took the rifle to the range a couple of days ago and it was having trouble feeding rounds, so it's off at a friends shop right now getting the feed ramp machined or something, so no pics until I get it back.

FINALLY, got the rifle back, turns out the only problem was the magazines.

It's all HK parts (except the receiver and probably compliance parts)
receiver is federal arms. (read some stuff saying the welds on a fed are no good, but this one isn't welded it's pinned)

I had a choice between using black furniture or green and went with the latter because I like that old school HK look.

I've only shot it at 75 feet so far but, I'm waiting for some ammo to come in and I'm going to try to take it to the police range sometime next week and see how it handles at long ranges (that range goes out to 1000 yards or more!)

Nice! Now just take the brake off the barrel and put a HK flash suppresser on it.

I second the flash suppressor idea.
Be kind to your shooting buddies.
The brake on there now will be devastating to those on either side of you while firing.
A friend of mine had one and it would literally rattle your teeth if you were at a position along side. People would just up and walk away when he fired it.
If it is a Century build, the brake is more than likely "permanently attached" with no threads on the barrel end.
The Century built guns are prone to problems, functional and cosmetic.
If you have one that works, enjoy it. They are great guns.
