IF I have one complaint about the P-64 it is the sites. Does anyone know of a way to get better sites (night sights would be great) without spending too much.

reprisejim,
Makarov.com used to sell a kit that stuck on little glowing dots. They needed some sun light during the day to work. They might have something like that in stock.

I found the dots from http://nitesiters.com/ especially easy to install and have improved the sights on several pistols with them.

If you want new sights, Phil at Firearms Solutions makes them for the "Mak" family. They are similar to the Novak Combat Sights. He is putting a set on a Bulgy Mak for me currently and will be doing my new P-64 after that.

Here is the link: http://www.firearmsolutions.com/index.html

These are his sights:

Thanks, Bob. Just wanted to show them again. Man, these are the best looking sights that I have seen for a small pistol and I have heard only the best regarding his sight work.

There's a reply(#29 on apr3,2007) by turbocat which shows a p64 with a brass shotgun bead screwed into the front of the slide.Looks cheap and very visible for short range.Picture at http://i19.tinypic.com12aey1ax.jpg
