Hi guys! I am now taking orders for custom made plastic grips. Please note that the first six grips will be $15.00, but after that they will go up to $35.00. The reason for that is my mold that will be used for the first 6 had to be repaired, so there is a hairline defect on the face of the left grip (see the pics below...they were made off this mold). They are totally functionable. I can't make another mold untill I sell some of these because I went broke trying to learn how to do this. Thanks for your support. :)

COLORS

I have off white, pearl, gray, green, brown, and any swirl/camo pattern of the above.

TO ORDER

Send my dad (himmel) a pm. Again, the first 6 confirmed orders will cost $15.00.

they look great! can you get a close up pic of the defect, I can't make it out in the pics, so it can't be that bad.

I went for a Brown grip like the brown/green mix. It reminds me of a mak grip or simulated wood.

Ok Trent, here is an up-close of the ridge...the pic was taken so that there is a shadow defining the line. Honestly, it is not very noticeable in real life. Thanks!

Hi guys. A little update here. My "injured" mold gave up the ghost, so I went ahead and made a new one. It is curing this very moment, and I will begin pouring your orders as soon as it dries. I am also using a different plastic now, and I'm having great success with it. Be checking you mail in the next week, you will have grips soon!

BTW, there is one more set available at the $15.00 price.

Later, Chris

What plastic are you using now? I've done a little mold pouring for scale modelling projects, and just wondering which brand of plastic seems tough enough for gun grips. The two-part resin I was pouring took detail well, but seemed to scar relatively easy.

Thanks!

I'm using Hobbycast 110. Seems to be very durable, I can throw it on our concrete floor and they won't break.

My first set of orders should go out tomorrow. It ends up that none of them were made on the broken mold... you guys were my stakeholders. Thanks

Here is the final product. Both of these sets are for sale for $15.00 each. The first is light green swirl and the other is considered tan. Here they are:
