Not sure what you are asking, P36 ? The only Armscorp in that group is the RIA MS .45acp. The three M36's and the M13 are all Smith & Wessons. Hope that answers your question.

Shot it [RIA MS 4" bbl] today at a range in Port St. Joe, FL. and it did "Great", put about 100 rds through it, not one burp, for me it's a fun pistol to shoot, also shot my Star BM today, it did great too, got to shoot a Beretta M9 today also and really liked it, thinking of getting one while I am down here, will find out tomorrow.

Thanks, Papa bear--I've seen Armscor revolvers occasionally at one of the shops here (the one where I got my P64), for some reason I was under the impression that they were plain-jane, inexpensive, but solid-quality guns, but I can't recall how I came to that impression. seems I wasn't way off anyway...

hi- point work kind of like the p-64, blow back action, I have put 5000 rounds through mine and have not had a glitch. I love them, great truck gun.

yep, that's why they have that monster slide, so they can use blow-back action on a large-caliber weapon. And that, in turn, is one reason they cost less--blow-back is less complicated to make than locked-breech. Or am i off the track here??? I couldn't get my Hi-point clone (actually made by Stallard Arms) to work, I suspect I was limp-wristing when that massive slide was travelling backwards...

You are absolutely correct, I have never heard that problem before with hi-points. Is it possible that is just a problem with that manufacturer.
