I shot 25 rounds of Mesko through my P64 today, and I say it is good ammo. I also fired a mag of Fiocchi, and the Fiocchi seemed to have slightly greater recoil, but that may be an illusion.
In any case, it seemed pretty accurate--I had a pretty tight group at 25 yards.

Info on another board said that AIM is changing the way they package the Mesko 9x18 ammo, they have received many complaints about it. Communicating still works!!! ;D

amd6547,
Sorry for the confusion, the packaging I was referring to was the packaging the ammo came in from AIM, several had complained that when they received their ammo (Mesko) that the shipping package was torn open and some even said a few rounds were missing, plus, the plastic box's the ammo came in were smashed. So, AIM is correcting the problem with the way they package the shipments.

When I received my package of ammo from AIM, the box was in good condition. I said to myself that the plastic boxes should be in good condition, but when I opened the box, all the plastic containers were cracked and some lids were broken. My take on this is that the abuse UPS puts boxes thru, and the plastic boxes are really low cost plastic, just shatters the plastic from the shock of handling.
Before I stored the ammo, I taped the broken lids and when I use it, i will throw the plastic away. This is really good looking ammo, I will just be glad to shoot some. One of my shooting buddies asked if I would be home this weekend as they are going shooting today with pistols and rifles. Man, being out of town sucks for shooting. I have one of my large caliber pistols on its way to me to carry when hiking. I would prefer to carry the P-64, but I want a BIG caliber for any two or four legged enemy, LOL!

Silver Bear is 115 grains? Thats pretty big. It it's hot, I'll avoid it in my p64. Guess it won't hurt my Russian mak, though. Might try it in that.

I went to "AIM" in person this week and bought 9x18 ammo. I just wanted to say that they seem like a nice bunch to do business with and were very friendly.

Went to a gun show in Montgomery this past weekend and NOBODY had a single round of any kind of 9x18. When I finally asked around, some said they had some that morning but sold out quick ( I went after lunch). Didn't realize it was such a hot item. I really wanted to try some of those larger bullet sizes, especially in my Russian Mak and my new CZ82. Figure the CZAK is just fine with Blazer HP.

The larger sized (109-grain and above) bullets are not being manufactured anymore. The largest cartridge recently offered was the Wolf 100-grain, but that's not being sold now either - unless you find some leftovers.
