I use these.

They were designed for the KelTec P3AT but they are installed on my P-64. You can use the pads, sleeve or both. I have 2 pads on the back strap and front strap of my grip plus the rubber grip sleeve. I also put one thickness of pad on the bottom of my flat based magazine. To remove the grips you would have to first remove the rubber sleeve and then cut the pad(s) down the middle at the grip's parting line with a razor blade.

PshootR,

That looks like a pertty interesting concept. I would prefer rubber grips, but as none are available, this seems as though it might be a wothwhile substitute.

Many thanks!

PshootR,

Thanks a bunch, that does look like a worth while solution for now.

I just ordered two.....One for my currently naked P-64 and one for my P3At!

I know of a member on this forum who may offer to Parkerize and/or Duracoat pairs of grips. He refinished my entire gun along with the grips and they are FANTASTIC. Although I do like to use wood grips, the ones he finished by parkerizing and duracoated are probably my favorite ones. I usually switch from time to time. I'll contact him to see if he's interested in providing this service to grips. I don't want to speak for him, so no dissapointment if he isn't interested.
