No that would be the hammer spring.
Factory standard is 18lbs.

Oops, sorry Bob, my bad. The vid I embed was the hammer spring mod. The stock recoil spring, as Curly said is 18 lbs.

No, no! What I think Bob is asking is about the
RECOIL spring weight, not trigger pull. The original pistol recoil spring was/is 18 lbs. And Bob, I'm about 10 years younger but I have also had the darndest time(s) trying to get those pistols back together!!! I try and try, sometimes, and then I'll sit and look at that sucker, try again and it goes together! I think ya just gotta hold your mouth just right...

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe the slide stop is jammed between the slide and frame in his picture, I figured out fast that during reassembly you need to kind of push it up and inward as you are pulling the slide back and down or it will get wedged between the frame and slide. I realize this is a bit of an old post but thought this might help someone.

make sure small end of recoil spring goes on barrel first .
