Thanks Junius for fixing that pic. I saw the link didn't work when I posted it, but didn't have a chance to get back and fix it.

Welcome fellow Badger. I've carried handguns professionally for over 30 years. I retired a bit over a year ago and carried concealed on my Federal HR218 credentials in Wisconsin... soon to carry concealed with the much less restrictive civilian Wisconsin CCW license.

The P-64 is an excellent CCW weapon for the $$$, especially for summer wear. I carry mine in the rotation and... like any smaller caliber handgun... don't feel underarmed for most social encounters as long as you choose your carry ammo wisely.

I am in Bellingham Washington, The City of Subdued Excitement. We Open Carry here. I normally switch between a ruger p85 and a cz82. I have recently ordered a P64 and it should come in the mail soon. Concealed has its place, (BUG) but I prefer OC. After a cleaning and a few rounds downrange we will see about this little weapon. sounds like fun

Weapon has arrived since last post. What a wonderful tool. I will have to get another soon. It came in the mail and was in very nice condition. A bit of wear on the sharps, but not much finish worries. SHoots like a dream. My Sweet Baboo and I took it for a range fire and it was great. She was getting two inch groups at 15 yards. You just have to love a woman with a weapon. I fitted the P64 to two holsters, 1- an Uncle Mikes tactical for daily wear (I open carry) and 2- a black leather thumb break that was in the bottom of a box. It fits really well and looks good when I have to dress up a bit.

I pocket carry my P64 as my primary firearm in a DeSantis Nemesis holster. I love the fact that it has weight to it and in the 350 rounds I've put through it there have been zero failures with any ammo I've tried. Hornady makes Makarov defense rounds and they feed wonderfully through the P64 so I've been using those. I did the main spring and recoil spring swap and now it's a great gun to shoot.

I can't recommend this gun enough for the best value in CCW today, that is if you're willing to have some patience with swapping springs and cleaning cosmoline. It's well worth it.
