I need the safety. I've sent you several messages and haven't heard back. If you have the safety, I'll take it.

I am still looking for that little thing. I have a coupla more boxes to look at but I am really really afraid that when I sold the slide I may have sold the drum with it. I know I sold it with firing pin and spring but not the detent or extractor. That kind of makes me think if I didn't sell the other parts why should I have sold that. I am still looking got the week end to really move some stuff around. Sorry I haven't found it yet.

I know this is extreme. Have you considered purchasing a P-64 just for spare parts?? How about engineering drawings of the P-64? There's someone, somewhere that could make parts, if they had the drawings. The skills are there somewhere, just need the proper motivation.

I actually did by a spare just for parts. However, if those parts go, I'm stuck. I think you might have something on the manufacturing. I'll look into it. Thanks.

When I was in the Navy. We had parts for aircraft made all the time. Diagrams should also tell you what type of metal and how it was to be tempered. If you know anyone who can program a computer lathe ,or milling machine, might even be some gunsmith's that could do it. But the cost whew!!
