TRIGGER RETURN SPRING

Post by davedenker »

Hi Norm, just wondering if I'm too late for a spring. They are buggers to get back on when they fall off. Anyone else have them falling off when they clean? Mine is the pre 1971 models which are a tad bit different then the newer ones. Any tips would be appriciated. Dave Denker, 22 Willow Drive, Easton PA, 18045

Thanks all.

TRIGGER RETURN SPRING

Post by jhimco »

Thanks Norm. This worked just right. What a pain in the butt! These P-64 pistols are hard to re-assemble. I took mine apart completely, down to the last pin! Just to find out I needed the trigger spring. It is very important to tighten down the screw on the left hand side of the pistol, it gets in the way of the slide. I had to use both springs I bought from you. I screwed up the first one and cut it too short. But now I think it functions just right. Now I have to take it to the range for a test. Thanks! ;D

TRIGGER RETURN SPRING

Hey Norm,

I sent you an e-mail requesting two if you still have them. Let me know the total cost and I'll PayPal it to you.

My spring broke yesterday at the range after only 11 rounds being shot through my P-64 that I picked up at a gun show. Those 11 rounds were right on target though so I gotta get my newest toy up and running again!

Norm,

Thanks for the heads up! I sent you another e-mail about the springs. For some reason I can't view all the data on the page you sent me to but hopefully we can get it all hashed out. Thanks again!

Norm! You da man!

Folks,

Norm is definitely the go to guy for the trigger and slide stop springs! Not only does he provide a top quality product but he includes very detailed, high resolution pics to aid the uneducated P-64 populace (namely me) with the correct installation. It took me just under 20 minutes to replace my trigger spring using his instructions, a small flat tip screwdriver, a dental pick and wire cutters. In addition, he ships your orders out pronto so you'll be back up and shooting within a week if not less! I wish every businessman had their customer's satisfaction set at such a high priority as Norm does.

Thanks again Norm and thanks also for the extra slide stop spring you included at no charge...again, customer oriented in case I broke it during removal...lol.

TRIGGER RETURN SPRING

Post by rodger58 »

My springs from Norm came yesterday. I am waiting for Wolff to get the trigger springs to me so I can replace all of them at once.

If buying my P64 meant nothing more than the oppotunity to interact with Norm Sutton it has been a great experience.

A fine gentleman. A credit to all gun owners.
