Do I have your mag?

Post by abwehr »

ryan

First off, WELCOME to the P-64 forum! The P-64 is one of the best small pistols I have ever purchased. They may need a little polishing in areas, and you may want to think about changing the springs (read previous posting on the springs), but it is a solid, and very accurate pistol. The poles are known for quality constuction. Please come back often and participate in the discussions.

Where would the serial numbers be? I can't find S/Ns on either of mine.

Also, the magazines are different from each other. Were there design changes mid-production, or were there aftermarket mags produced?

the serial numbers are etched on with an electrical engraver by hand I think. If your mags have them you can't miss them, they are huge numbers but it seams there are many mags with no numbers

my spare is 03889,

If someone could answer, why do some just have a sn while others have letters in front, my p64 and matching mag have DT in front of the numbers. Does DT stand for a specific armory which it was made?

so far the closest one i see to my gun # 05346 is Beaselydano's #05966 . Read my numbers above and if you see any # that you want to trade for , i am ok with that ! all of my mags operate fine but that electro-pencil operator could single handedly re-name it to the electro-scribbler ! they sure coulda used a stencil or learn to use the thing before they practiced on the mags heehee.
