Fobus paddle holster

Post by uhlawpup »

Does anyone know if the Fobus paddle holster for the PPK will work with the P64?

I use a Fobus paddle for my Makarov, and would like one for the P64. Since they don't make one, and the P64 is almost dimensionally exact to the PPK, I was wondering...

Hello pup ! !

Got some good news and some bad news . . . . . :-[

Since I have this love affair with pocket pistols it seems that I've collected a lot of holsters for them too.

Pulled out my Fobus for my PPK/s and gave it a try.

Sorry . . bad news . . . . appears the slide on the PPK/s is a little thinner than the slide on my P-64. It's a no-go :-[

But . . . now the good news :-*

Also have a Fobus for my Sig 232.

It fits ! ! ! ;D

P-64 "snaps into place" . . . . and holster covers the trigger guard too ! !

Slide on the P-64 is a little shorter than the Sig 232 so you'll have about 1/2 inch more holster than slide, if you know what I mean.

Sure am glad you asked the question . . .now I have a paddle holster for my P-64 ! !

Gotta love these pocket pistols ;D

You know, I have never liked the Fobus holster (I like leather too much I guess), but the Fobus may be a good alternative for the P-64. I appreciate the info about the SIG 232 holster fitting the P-64!

My P64 seems to fit my Mak Fobus pretty well.

The Fobus that was "supposed" to fit my PPK was too narrow, enough that you couldn't draw it back out reliably. I drilled out the rivets, put 1 mm washers between the halves, and pop riveted it back together. Snaps in and out like a dream. However, it's still to narrow for my P-64. My Fobus for the Makarov, marked "Mak-1" is way too narrow for for my P-64 trigger guard and would have to have the same treatment, making it too loose for my Mak. Will check out the Sig possibility, thanks.

I carry my P-64 in a Fobus (for the Sig 232) also.

It fits my Hungarian PA-63 even better.

I have an uncle mike's rig that is real comfy. I would not want to do a lot of walking with any ankle rig, but they do hide the P-64 well. Uncle Mikes has a strap that goes over the top of the calf, that helps alot. I still like the forbus because in Tennessee you can't carry were they serve alcoh/drinks. So if my wife and I are going in somewere to eat, its easy to take the forbus off without undoing your belt.
Next is the clipdraw I have on order.....I,m going broke. :'(

It is even worse then a holster now. went to my favorite shop..
last week they had a P64 there it was 179.00 so since SoG would have been close (shipping and waiting and etc)...Plus I get a discount count there besides that.I figured it was just as easy to pick it up there and have it right now.. And since a real nice guy I met here got me a pair of grips I need another one. Well it was gone BUT as I was looking around found a S&W Combat Masterpiece, which I used to carry when I was a young pup. So yes Need a home equity now. Am bidding on a phobus now on Ebay anybody out bids me remeber I can be armed and dangerous.
