Can I come back home ?

Post by bigduke6 »

Been gone for a while as I traded my P64 a couple of years ago for I can’t even remember what but finally found a nice made in 72 model. I pick it up Wednesday so........the man is back in town! Looking forward to being involved with the forum again.

A P-64 owner :?: Definitely you are welcome back home. :hi: As long as you are not a blood relative.

But :!: Trade or sell my P-64's :?: Being POLISH, that will never happen. Have already decided that if worse came to worse with todays gun laws, before I give them up, I would throw them in a lake. And I am not telling anybody which lake.

Well guys as with my luck, when I went to buy the P64 it looked as tho it had been drug behind a truck over concrete on one side and the trigger guard spring was all but sprung so....no sale but on the way back home (50 mile trip ) I found a nice FEG R61 in excellent shape for $225 at a gun shop that was on the way so not a total loss. If I can’t come home will y’all at least let me visit until I find a P64

Sorry to hear of your disappointment with the offered P-64. Just seems that their are a lot of people that do not know what the word " quality piece " really means.

Definitely come and visit the forum anytime. Perhaps you will come across a nice P-64 and be happy again.

Personally, I have three P-64's. Two are considered to be in excellent condition. The third has been viewed by a couple of gunsmiths and they do not think that it has ever been used. Their is not one part on the gun that shows any sign of wear. It looks like it came off of the assembly line direct to my front door. And the answer is " NO ", it is not and never will be for sale :!:

I have looked at other P-64's, but none seem to measure up to the quality of the ones I already own. Hopefully someday you may come across one.

Come and join us anytime and also have a Happy New Year. If you can find a P-64 that you really like, then it may very well be a Happy New Year for you. :D

You'll like the R61, is it 9x18 or .380?

It was originally 9x18 as marked on slide but was changed to .380 at some point. Numrich has the 9x18 bbl. I’d like to change it back
