Polish iron grips still available?

Post by Brodrash »

Hi, Im new to the forum but have been lurking in the background ever since I purchased my p-64. Anyways, I would love to get my hands on some polish Iron V05 grips if they are still being sold! I can't find them on ebay, so I figured I would come here and see if anyone has any info or see if I could contact russ directly.

Any info. is appreciated, Thanks!

Polishiron68 that is the name the maker goes by on these boards. Try PM'ing him and see what his status is. In May he announced he would be shutting down for about a month and would be back but I have seen no announcement that he is in fact returned. if you can get them you will be very happy with them, they are the best.

You do not need an extended mag release for the V.05 grips. I have them and my release is stock. Works great.

Hello All,
I am new to this group and thank you for having me. I really like my P-64. Why I am writing is to say I also would really the new grips. Please me know if you hear when he is selling them again. Thanks in advance. About my P-64, I replaced the springs with the Wolf springs, 17# recoil and the hammer spring. Made the double action really nice, but I think it made the single action almost to light. Trigger return spring broke. That was way to much fun to replace! Only took about 90 minutes, but it came out well. I looked a very nice one at the gun show two weeks ago for $289.00, no extra clip or holster, kind of wish I had picked that one up. Be well.

Welcome to The Brotherhood. Anything you need to know about this great little pistol can be found here, all ya have to do is ask. To my knowledge PolishIron has not come back from his hiatus, but hopefully soon.

Thanks Ketchman, question for you, or should I post this question to the group? Are new grips really worth it? Nice meeting you.
Thanks,

Image to the club. Lots of good info on the P64 here. Just ask away. The PI grips add some girth to the grips but are nice and do help with recoil. You may also want to consider the extended mag release.

Jonathan50, personally I strongly recommend the Polish Iron grips as they do help with recoil and give a better feel as my friend OG17 said. But I would suggest that you start a post with this question to the group, it will get you experience with posting and get you introduced to more of The Brotherhood.
