Hello
I am new here.
I have a cz 83 that is in bad need of refinishing. I have cerakoted a few of my gun now and want to do this one as well.
I have been searching for complete disassembly instructions.

I tried to get the link to work but did not have any luck.
I was wondering if their was a different link or a nother place to try to look.
thanks again for your help

The auto safety will make you go mad unless you install it as one piece held together with toothpicks. Then just use the pins to push the toothpicks out. I have PDF files on the CZ-82 Disassembly but I can't post them here. PM me. You will need an extra one or two of these..https://www.buymilsurp.com/slide-stop-s ... 42176.html

Thank you guys so much.
I do feel a bit stupid. Most of the links I found when doing my search came up with an error or expired page.
Was thinking for a bit I was going to have to pay someone to do the refinish.
anyway thanks again

Sights come off easy. Front is pinned get the right punch. new Sights are available from CZ USA. Don't soak it. get one of these......https://www.buymilsurp.com/cz82-spring- ... 42319.html

Any advice on the auto safety and sear spring.
Having a lot of trouble getting the spring on the auto safety.

I would have not taken it apart but I had to cerakote it. It has some pretty good rust. it was like that when I bought it.

Got it back together.
Everything seems to work.
Some time the trigger does not reset. Just a slight pull of the hammer and then it does. It might be friction from the cerakote. It was a somewhat tight fit I guess.

Here she is. I an not a professional but it does not look to bad in person.

I'm looking for an exploded view of the cz-82 anyone have one or know of a good one somewhere that's easily viewed?

Now I have a matching pair! One CZ-83 and a CZ-82!

Image

Look what I got for my Colt 1908 .380!

I added a Husqvarna 1907 to my collection also along with an Original 1907 browning Long Barrel! Picked it up at a gun show here in Tucson for 95.00! Couldn't pass it up! Made my own 9 Browning Longs from cut down 9 MM Largo cases. I can shoot either .380's out of it with the sleeved barrel or shoot Factory 9 MM Browning Longs or my homemade 9 Browning Longs out of it! Neat old pistol and parts are still available for it!
