It turned out to be a 1969 in very fine condition. Very pleased with AIM.

Field stripped, cleaned and oiled my P-64 with Break Free CLP. I have to say the thing looks virtually unfired.

Yesterday, 9 Sep 2016, I received an email advertisement from AIM, saying they had shooter grade P64's for $179.00. Immediately called. All gone...maybe next time!

I saw that AIM deal! I've been wanting a P-64 for awhile now and when I saw the AIM Surplus email, I immediately logged in and put one in my cart and went to checkout. Upon brief reflection, for that price, $179, and being able to ship it directly to my home with my C&R, I decided I should get another one. So instead of entering my credit card number, I went back to add another one. Bad idea. The site crashed. Too many people rushing to get one, apparently. Oops.
I kept trying and eventually the site came back up and I snagged two of them. Cost me $375 for two shipped directly to my door. I was ecstatic. They were all gone within an hour of the email, or less, and the site kept crashing while people tried to get them.
The two P-64's arrived today. One from 1968 and the other from 1969. They were sold as "shooter grade" but they look very decent to me! I would say the are extremely fine to excellent. (See the pics.) I'm extremely pleased. Can't wait to try them out--but I guess I need some 9x18 ammo now. Never had anything for that caliber before.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more about them. I've got Tokaravs, Kalishnakovs, a Saiga-12, 2 Polish Radom PPS-43's (one in 7.62x25 and one in 9mm), and I enjoy restoring old military bolt-action rifles from the first half of the 20th century. I'm also building my two of my own PPS-43 rifles, one each of 7.62x25 and 9mm. I have a C&R FFL and have been creating a small collection of both handguns and rifles.
