What did you do to get the texture on the grips? Also looks like the texture raps around the front.

i picked the grip wrap up on e bay. great feel and should last for a long time. the only problem is if you have to remove the grips the grip tape(wrap) would have to be cut or taken off

I am thinking of grip tape, or a grip sleeve as well. See if helps a little on recoil too.

I have never found the recoil to be real bad. I think the grip tape helps with your grip so your hand doesn't slide it just makes the gun look better.
