What Model Year Do You Own?
Re: What Model Year Do You Own?
1972
1976
Both from Classic Firearms. I bought the '76 first, luck of the draw with hand select and received a nice one with only a little muzzle wear. About a year later, toward the end of Classic Firearm's stock, I bought another and received a '72. It came with more wear and no holster and is usually my carry pistol.
I also like that I have one with the triangular hammer and one with a round hammer.
Both shoot great, feel great, and though I'm an average-sized guy, the DA trigger pull and the recoil are not too bad.
I think I need a third P-64 because I enjoy having multiples of milsurp I enjoy, such as CZ-82s, Yugo Tokarevs, and Mosin-Nagants.

Re: What Model Year Do You Own?
Recently picked up a 1971 to go with my 1974.
Re: What Model Year Do You Own?
1968 & 1974. I let my brother borrow one. I think it's a 1976.

Hi,
New to these forums and to P-64. Pick up mine in a week-there's a 10 day wait here, private party transfer/sale.

Re: What Model Year Do You Own?
Howdy,
In the past two or three months I've gone from owning 2 P-64's to 4. First, J&G sent an ad email, so I bought one, not expecting much, and I was right: fair wear on the outside and a CAI import stamp really about as big as a billboard. This one will be my carry pistol because it has plenty of holster wear already.
Then I bought one of Classic Firearms recent nice ones, paid the premium, and received and excellent condition pistol.
Love these pistols. Along with my Yugo Tokarevs and CZ-82's, they feel right and shoot right.
I'm not sure, but I might need just one more...at least I'm gaining on Norm. Cosmetically, two are excellent and two are VG. Inside, all are excellent.
So now I have:
1 - 1972
1 - 1973
2 - 1976

Just got mine from Classic a few days ago. It's 1969...
...but the second magazine is post-1972 and has different feed lips.
