I have a line on a Llama ix-b 1911 Handgun for $300 and I think it has a shoulder holster. Are they any good?
I have a Llama .45 that is okay but it has no markings as far as model numbers go I think I paid $350 for it but I can't remember. At the time I asked around about it and they said some are good and some aren't.

I am not sure of that model but can say I have a few llamas of different types and never met one I didint like...there are a lot of other spanish steel lovers here. think there are some comments on other threads(maybe ) the photo gallary pictures... . I do have a llama firestorm 1911 type and love it..

I waited too long, it's gone now. I think it was too good of deal.
Re: Llama ix-b 1911 Handgun
The main concern with the LLamas is the extractor breaking. Finding spares is next to impossible. Wonder how much it would cost to have one made?
Re: Llama ix-b 1911 Handgun
I just picked this Llama ix-b up the other day except this one is in 9mm. It is commander sized and I love it. Shoots very sweet, soft because it's an all steel pistol in 9mm. I am going to change out the sights though 'cause the front is almost impossible to pick up and it shoots a tad low for me. I believe this one was made sometime around eary -mid 80's as the model stopped production in '85 and the descriptions I have been able too find make me think this was a late production model.
Close enough for Government work will get you dead, ask any Vet.

I didn't now Llama had a model IXB, I know they have a model XI in 9mm that's similar to the IXA, anyway nice looking Llama, I had the same Llama 9mm back in the 80's and it went bang every time. I now have a IXA 45acp that I'm rather fond of, for me the Llama's are a well made gun and mine is pretty darn accurate. I also believe like and own the Star BM 9mm and the Star PD in 45acp
IXA Llama 45acp

Yes the Star BM and PD are good carry options.
