9x18 Mak brass
9x18 Mak brass
Any thoughts on where to order Brass for reloading 9x18 Mak ammo. Been using PPU factory ammo, because thats all I can find in my area. It's about $22 a box of 50 at Cabela's. Love shooting my P-64, but want to start reloading for it.

Check for Starline brand brass at Midway. I believe that you can order direct from them as well. Do a Google search and you will find them.

why buy 9x18 brass , pick up 9X19 ( 9mm ) brass at the range , then cut it down , its better brass than anything you can buy, and when you lose it its not so bad, so many treads about doing this , here is one on this board viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3967

Re: 9x18 Mak brass
I use once fired 9mm Luger Military brass, that way they have only a number on the head stamp and don't say 9mm luger. The process is simple, run them thru the expander die first ran down as far as possible, then run them thru the sizing die, just use a lee case trimmer and a drill, after trimming re do the sizing die just to make sure they are true, expand just enough for the bullet to fit and press on. I have found my best results using a Berry's 95 grain Plated round nose bullet over seven grains of Accurate No 7
