Just keep your eye on Gunbroker.com. There is usually 2 folks selling them on there, one in Poland the other in Florida. Just keep looking.

Mine was broken when I purchased the gun. I've been going crazy trying to locate one. I ordered some other parts from Miami and Poland. I'm in Orlando and would buy it off you. Thanks for all the help and advice.

Text message sent.

When my catch broke, I ordered one from Poland. Then later that day saw the other seller in Miami and since I wanted it now, ordered one from him too. Turns out while his online shows Miami, Michal moved to New Jersey and never changed online location. So I ended up with 2 that both arrived at the same time. You can have it for what I paid, $35. Pick it up right away if you are in the area. Email me for arrangements. Thanks.

I'm sad. My safety catch broke & I've been searching all over, yet can't find any for sale. Due to this, I also fear that once on IS for sale...if ever again...that it'll be some ultra high price because they know it'll sell even for $100 to someone out there. Unfortunately, this seemingly forces me to retire my beloved '72 P-64 and go buy a new gun for CCW.

Welcome to the forum, Ron, yes that is a sad tale.

Keep an eye on Gunbroker and ebay.

The last guy had about 30 used ones last year and sold them on GB for $35 delivered.

You can always sell it on the trader here for a parts gun.

Thank you, and I've considered it, but this was my first gun which makes me not want to sell it if I can help it.

I didn't notice when I used Gunbroker, but do they have the feature like some sites do to notify you when something becomes available? Or maybe the actual seller could notify you? Just curious.

Yes you can set up searches with an email notification when something pops up just like ebay.
