Noob (Info best way to buy)

Post by creamerjoshua »

Hi everyone, so I'm new to this forum and forums in general but I need a little help on getting one of these awesome guns. Ran across one online about a 2 weeks ago and fell in love with it off the bat. Been looking around to buy one but not in the right places I guess. What are some good sites to buy from and is it best to just do it through my local gunshop or the whole c&r thing?

Welcome to the forums.

If you can find one local less than or equal to the online price at least you get to inspect it and if problems return it.

You may also be able to haggle with them or offer to pay cash it they don't charge tax.

Classic Arms has em http://www.classicarms.us/firearms.htm

So do these guys http://www.jgsales.com/c-r-guns-c-290.html

You can also keep an eye out in the WTS section of the forum here.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Actually there is one in the WTS section with what looks like the custom Marschal grips replaced, springs added and 3 mags.

And early round hammer.

When I first read his post, this was what I immediately thought of. That is a pretty darn good deal for the price and what the seller is offering.

OP below is a link that will walk you through the paperwork for getting your C&R if you are interested. I am in the process of getting mine. Paperwork has deen submitted for 2-3 weeks now.

I bought both of mine at the local Gander store.

That one looks like a deal, 3 mags and Marshal grips in good shape! I would have bought that one if I had seen it first.
