I have one in my stable also, make sure you pick up some spare buffers.
Very well built.

Love those STAR handguns. I owned two: Firestar M43-9. and Firestar 30MI-9. Sold both to a Spanish firearms collector who made me an offer I could not refuse.
My signature on several gun forums:
"In a perfect world, STAR would still be making forged steel handguns and Taurus would be out of business".

Re: Spanish hand cannon
WOW !!! Those Stars make mine look like @#$#. Hey I know wwere one is for $300.00 but it did not have adj. rear sights. It is an interarms import . whats up with the rear sights on this model . are they all aluminum frame Star PD?
Re: Spanish hand cannon
They should have adj rear sites with the later variations having the M31 adj rear sites.
However it looks like the prototypes marked PM of which only 1 was made in steel frame serial 1245074 and 2nd prototypes made in alloy frames marked PKM did not have adj sites.
So if it is marked PKM it would be a handful of prototypes made prior to the PD production run and depending on condition a collectors bargain at $300.

WOW! That .480 Ruger is INNNNsane. I guess it would beat out about anything in the weight to power ratio.
