I recently bought my first P-64. I already have grips coming from Marschal and springs coming from Wolff. Yes, the DA is absolutely the heaviest I have ever pulled. The SA is actually relatively smooth.

Congrats! Looks to be a nice one :) ...and 1977 :D Do you mind sharing how much you paid and where purchased? If not, I'll understand.

If Google Translate works properly, the subject line in your post would be, "To jest mój P64, jest wiele podoba, ale ten 1 jest mój." In Russian, it should be, "Это моя P64, Есть много нравится, но это одна моя." ...that's if the service works.

I've got my 03 C&R filled out and ready for a postage stamp! Hopefully by the time I receive my FFL I can just pick up the phone and get one of my own! I'm on "pins and needles" delivering pizzas at night here in New Orleans. Next will be my CHP from the LSP handgun unit. I'm leaning toward a fanny pack carry, specifically the BlackHawk 40BP00BK as it uses belt loops rather than a nylon strap around the waist.

Just got home from work and there were 2 more shootings today in broad daylight! (victims not 10-7). It's rough down here... public officials are again crying for help from the Louisiana National Guard! And Mardi Gras is on 2/21/12.

Mercy...I'm rambling again :| I gotta learn how to stop that! Yet, before I close, just a note, Academy sells 9x18 Mak FMJ in their stores for $9.99 per 50 round box. Most stores either don't have it, or keep very little in stock. The stores near me don't, but the gun counter manager in Kenner, LA owns a Mak and keeps 6x50 boxes in stock at all times. The Academy SKU is: 0013090071. The brand is Monarch, made in Russia specifically for Academy Sports & Outdoors. Hornady now has their Critical Defense line in 9x18 as well.... for about $1 per round.

Be sure and download the 3 PDF files listed on: http://www.p64resource.com/media.php
They are a true work of art!

Take care, and again, congratulations on that nice find!

Hahaha. "Down on your fanny..." :) That is a nice looking pistol. I really do hate when importers emblazon their stupid billboard on the gun and put 9x18 because some folks are just dumb and would try to put a 9mm Luger in the gun if it didn't have the 9x18 posted on it. Same as putting labels on toasters saying not to put a fork in them, or not to use a blow dryer near a bathtub, and don't stare directly at a CD player laser. As I like to say, warning labels cheat natural selection!!! Oh well. Congrats!

I bought it at the Milford Gun Shop in Milford Ohio and paid $200.00. I know there are less expensive oprions out there, but by the time would have paid S & H and transfer, it would have been more expenisve. I have been buying from Ron for quite some time.

AIM Surplus lists a smokin' deal but they were out of stock.

I am stoked and cannot wait to work on it. I think it is a fine handgun and I will work it into my CCW rotation.

IMO, it represent a real value.

Ones you get to the range you will really like this little jem. Take plenty ammo because you will want to keep shooting.
