Canik, very close copy of a CZ-75 compact except with an aluminum frame. In fact the trigger is a CZ-85 combat.
I found some buffalo horn on Ebay and made grips. This is a very nice pistol, excellent for the money.

Re: Canik 9mm
chimera,
Good looking pistol and I love the grips. Its does resemble the CZ75's, and according to what I researched the internals are pretty much the same as the CZ75. The Canik comes from Turkey, and this model comes with a all steel slide and frame [S120] and the aluminum slide and frame [L120]. I have had a couple CZ75's models and still have a CZ75 P-01 compact that I really like as far as 9mm go. Yulp, I'm interested in seeing pics and a range report when you can.
CZ75 P-01
Another good semi copy IMO of a CZ75 is this Tanfoglio EEA Witness 9mm

Sweet looking Pistol. Turks make good guns, seeing more and more of them these days too.
BTW: Dont know if you care but in Turkish Canik is pronounced Janik. Its a place near Samsun.
