Elite Custom Weaponry & Plating

Post by tf88 »

I sent my P-64 to ECW in Monroe, NC for hard chrome plating. Before sending them my gun they said the plating process would take 4-6 weeks, which I thought was a bit excessive. They have now had my gun for 7 full weeks and today said they expect to get to it next week. For the past several weeks they have said they were going to get it done "next week for sure" each time I called over the past 3 weeks. Still nothing.

Does anyone have experience with this company?

Hi,

I live outside of Charlotte NC and have heard of this place before. I believe this the place where Classic Arms is getting their Toks plated that they have for sale on the Web. They appear to do a good job for what I have seen on the web and read about them. As far as turn around time, I don't know.

Thanks for your thoughts. It's just really frustrating and I'm trying not to be the dick head and chance them doing a bad job.

Ask to speak to someone up the line if you haven't already.

Set a deadline to be done or send it back.

I'm sure there are other folks that would like your business.

Pay with a Credit Card if they do a crappy job dispute the payment.

Business must be really good to treat customers like this.

I sent this HP Image
to Duane ,and I already did the metal work on it ( the slide and the frame ) it took 2 to 3 month's to get back , I consider Duane a friend of mine, he is worth the wait
I think from February to July that is his slowest times
