Had a guy on SurplusRifle.com named Candyman refinish this one for me.
Before he started it looked like a bunch of chimpanzees beat on it with
ball peen hammers and rats chewed it too! He used Pure Tung Oil. It came out beautiful!





1903 Turk Mauser oil scrub blo finish.





24/47 Yugo Mauser with a 8X42mm POSP scope.
I built this one to replicate a rifle that might have been used in the
Balkan war in the 90's. Not too practical, but it looks cool as hell IMHO.
Bent bolt by Jim "The Boltman" from Gunboards.





M39 Sako Finnish Mosin.
This one shoots as well as my K31 Schmidt-Rubin.



24/47 8mm Yugo Mauser with S&K Scout Mount.
This rifle is super accurate!

I really have a thing for Spanish pistols. If I lived in a state
where I could buy any one of them that I wanted instead
of C&R only, ie 50+ years old, I would get every one that
I could get my hands on. Star & Llama.

There are a few of us here that like the Spanish pistols, Star's, LLama's and Astra's. I have a couple Stars also, but as of yet no Astra's.

Thanks for the kind words. My 24/47 scout setup shoots under 1" at 100
yards all day long with M75 Yugo Sniper 8mm ammo. The POSP 24/47 is
fun to shoot too. It isn't a paper punching scope. The reticle is an upside
down "V". It was meant for serious sniping. Super clear optics though.
By the way, it just so happens we have the same last name.

I love my Star PD, the Starvel finish is really neat and much better than the old nickel finishes, the only real issue I have had was finding more magazines for it, I got mine LNIB but with only one mag, I now have three mags for it two in Starvel and one blue. I found the Starvel one at a gun show in FL earlier this year and the blue one at a local garage sale, I really like to have at least three mags for each of my auto's, a back in the day thing for me when most guns came with three mags then two and now one.

I have posted these here before but you posting some of your milsurp rifles give me a chance to post some of them again.
