chrome plate

Post by csp »

I came across a photo on the web that I though was worth sharing.

I think it's one of the most apealing modifications to the P-64 I've seen so far.

Does this pistol happen to belong to any of the members?

I don't know if this particular P64 is his, but I believe Norm uses these guys for hard chroming (and/or other plating) regularly...

If it does belong to a member I'd like to find out what the price tag was for it and how well it has stood up to use.

I'm interested in hard chrome plating my little P-64. Does hard chrome plating last the entire life of the gun?

P.S. By the way I'm new to the board. Been visiting and fell in love with the gun and went to Cabela's and got one. 1972 model.
