Mystery? Number stamped on back of frame?
Mystery? Number stamped on back of frame?
I noticed there's a 5 digit number stamped on the back of the frame, underneath the hammer strut/spring. It's not the serial number. What gives? Is this a lottery ticket to the Polish Super Lotto?

Probably some sort of tracking number in the factory. Kind of like how S&W revolvers have a number on the crane and frame of the revolvers. Just a way to possibly keep parts together. Hard to say. There is little information on these guns and the original makers are probably deceased, don't remember, wouldn't tell you anyway, etc.
As for the lottery, there's normally a certain time period that you have to cash in your winning ticket. I think you're 35+ years late
