What year are you shooting?

Post by vinnie »

I ordered 2 from SOG. Both were marked 1970. but one had a round hammer and the other a triangle. A friend went in with me. He got the triangle hammer. DA on mine was nicer.

1976 with a triangle hammer.

Mine has a decent DA, after I cleaned it well, lubed it and polished a bit with some extra fine steel wool it is quite smooth. I can use my off hand without difficulty. It is stiff, but not bad.

1976, triangle hammer, flat grips, as new when purchased.
One of two mags is matching numbers. My guess is that pistols were removed from holsters when imported, since holsters I've seen for sale come with a magazine in place, and are shipped from Poland, I think. Thus, only one matching mag with pistol.
Anybody getting 2 matching mags?

1973 and 1975. Both with flat grips and the triangle hammer spur.

The 1975 came with one matching mag. :)

Vintage 1967 here. Ser.# WG07xxx. Also stamped TG Knox TN and Radom Poland forward of the Trigger guard.
Named it "noisey cricket" after Will Smith's weapon in the movie Men in Black. Nice snap it has!

Mine is a 1973, triangle hammer with flat grips. It came with 2 mags in a padded box. Appears to be unissued. I need to locate a holster now. It did come with the nice cleaning rod.

rogue,

Here is a link to the P-64 holster from Poland. This one is brown and they are excellent! Shipment is fast considering they are coming from Poland. You also get a spare magazine and cleaning tool. The link is: http://cgi.ebay.com/Polish-Army-P-64-Ma ... dZViewItem
