I got this 1935 Browning Hp about 3 month's ago
well I striped down and cold blue it to see if any rust was going to pop up
after about a month and a half I sent it off to have it hard chromed ,
after about 3 week got it back from Duane and put back together

Man... I mostly a 'blued' guy, but the more pics I see of Duane's hard chroming, the more I consider it trying it for one of my own.
Dead sexy HP there, Norm, especially considering how you first got 'er. How clear is the text on the left hand of the slide after the hard chroming?

Seeing is believing. Again, dead sexy...

Turned out very nice Norm, as different as night and day.
Few questions if i may:
Any idea what was the cause of the damage to the original finish? Appears to be some sort of chemical spill?
New grips made by yourself? Type of grip material?
All in all, a very good looking rig.

That was a great way to save an old HP.
Now you have to be careful, they have a habit of multiplying.
