Here's my first "EVIL BLACK (ok, gray park.) RIFLE". After some discussion with Bartos and Norm, I got on a mission to get a BIG BROTHER for my 4 P-64s to look up to.

So what do you boys think of the Polish Tantal wz. 88 side folder by Radom in the 5.45X39 flavor. It also goes by the AK-74 designation from what I've seen. Here's some hurried phone pics that I took tonight while at my brother's showing him what our "people" are capable of making. Without firing it yet, all I can say is we were both impressed and looking forward to throwing some lead, most of the ammo for this is steel though, down range. I promise to get some better shots of him in action and at rest. We've got another taking of "Water Bottle Hill" planned for next weekend while we're winterizing our summer retreat. This time we plan on getting some golfing in to, weather permitting.

NICE! Good looking 74 Manic!

I gotta warn you, I tried shooting Barnaul 5.45 ammo (comes in a black box with "sporting cartridges" on it) in my Romanian 74 and every shot was a key hole at 50 yards! The..um...::cough:: Wolf ammo shoots very though.

Yes we sure do. Go to
Profile > Modify Profile > Select Skin

The new one is named 'new_site'.

Thanks DF, but it's actually a killer pistol in the eyes of Michigan. I had to register it as a pistol because its shorter than 30", now I'm on a quest for a holster :o!
IWB could be tough to pull off.

If you'll find IWB, will it mean you'll be "well hung"?
Anyway - great new look.

Is anyone else having trouble reading your message information on the top right of the banner? I can barely make out the verbiage except for "1 message".

I did consider this, but, it's the only place on the forum that is difficult to read, and consequently, offers up no real information. Min esays:

Hey, dickfunk, you have 11 messages, 0 are new.

I can see the '11 messages' part, which is really all I need to know.

This is really odd!
Using Google Chrome, Opera, or Internet Explorer I get the new look.
Using Mozilla Firefox 3 I get the old look.
Go figure!

Oops!
It reverted to the old look as soon as I logged in!
