Oh-Boy! My New Toy (P6/P-225)
Well - you talk me into it. Picked mine weak ago. Shot 100 rounds Sunday without a hitch.
Original grips are suprisingly comfortable, but I'm planning on replacing the sights. Work great during day, but can't see militaty ones in low light at all (OK - my eys are old).
Fits P220 holster well, so I don't have to buy new leather.
I feel like cheating husband, it replaced CZAK as my truck gun.

After shooting the P6 a few times, I must agree that the weakest link are the sights. I don't feel I need the expensive tritium night sights, but just some good painted dots. If anyone finds any deals on sights please post a link. I've been searching around, but have not had much luck within my price range (<$30). Still a fantastic gun, and it goes well with my Swiss K-31 rifle as the only Sigs I will ever be able to afford.

I'm really toying with the idea of getting one of these now... A $500+ gun for ~$260,

WOW those are some great looking grips. I'll have to find some more mags first before splurging on those though.
Here's what I picked up on Saturday morning. These are my dealers pics, when I get her cleaned up and some time alloted I'll post the SIG family trio, lol!

Earlier in this thread I mentioned having grips on order from Numrich, they cancelled the order, they don't have them any more. All that the nice women could tell me was to keep checking back in with them.

What a shame, what a shame! I was finally going to order some of the Numrich grips, got my Dremmel out in preparation.
P.S. That's a good looking P6 Trent. Your grips appear to be in stellar condition. I'm pretty sure my whole gun was once wall-grated in a drunken German brawl. Like you said though, some cold blue or paint can fix her back up.
