;) Bought a P-64 at gun show in NH. Like new, 1974 date. Came with 3 mags, holster, and manual. One of the mags had the serial # of the gun scratched onto it. It works fine. The other two had different #'s on them and do not work fine. They tend to jam in the gun and do not release easily. Any thoughts? Also, might add, this gun is great, just the right size for carry. Kicks a little, but then I also enjoy my 1903a3 and M1 Garand. ;)

Just a note of thanks, and, to say I went to a gun show in Manchester NH today and only found one P-64, well used and priced at $285.

Still some unissued P-64s on the auction sites for around $170 shipped.

My P-64 doesn't like the mag numbered to it as well as the other that came with it. They're both doing much better now that I've run a bunch of rounds through each.

I defer to Norm, but in my very limited experience, I'd say shoot it a bunch then reassess it before you get too concerned.

No P-64's around here:( Found several PA-63's for $185 ea. not bad but I don't really want another one. Ammo is still reasonable, but I have to go out of town to get it. In town 18.00 for Winchester out of town 12.00 for same. Trying to talk guy into getting silver bear again.

Why don't you buy some Silver Bear from AIM? $7.50 for a box of 50, or $145.00 for a case of 1,000. They're good to deal with and their shipping is real reasonable. Just make a copy of your driver's license on your scanner and send it in and you are all set.
They don't give out your information. I've bought guns and ammo from them for several years and they are one of the best.

Of the 4 magazines that came w/ my 2 P-64s, two have had the leading edge of the plastic floor plate broken off. Will have to look for replacements.

Give Bill a call, he doesn't have them listed yet, but he may have them.

Not really. You could just trade them to me for good ones. I ground off the leading edge of the magazine floor plate 'cause it hurt my rather large hands, but I only did it on one of mine as I didn't want to bugger up good mags. If they're already broken then I don't mind hacking them up further.
