Like a rolling stone!

Post by manicmechanic »

Thank God mine are staying still!!
Well, I've made it pain free to this Friday, now the plan is to make it to Thursday for the lithotripsy :(. The Doc is planning on doing the large stone in the right, and possibly the small in the right at the same time. Then the next time possibly on my birthday, 27th, hit the left one. Right now he's thinking no stents, but I imagine all of this can change if it flares up. Vicodin!, don't leave home without it. Appreciate the replies guys, keep the BIG GUY busy for me. THANKS!!

Glad you've had a good week. I hope all goes well next week. I'm sure it will so plan on some more relaxing time on the computer searching the various websites seeing what you can buy and go shoot when you feel better!!

By the way I'll be listening next thursday evening for the first ...YAWWWWOCH!!...when you start passing the pieces of the shattered stones. I'm sure I'll hear it all the way up here in Boston!! :P

Good luck and I'll keep you in my prayers at night.

You got some prayers here too. Here's hoping you get through it, or rather they get through you, easily.

himmel,

It was Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. a former congressman and minister, he coined the phrase in the 60's “Keep the faith baby”. He used the phrase to encourage the people to keep their heads held high, and to stay in the civil rights struggle.

I will be thinking of you!!! Fortunantly, I have never had this problem, but my dad did and I had never seen him wince with any pain until he had kidney stones. Fortunantly he passed in while in the hospital. My thoughts really go out to you!!!!

Shattered stones pretty much describes what I've been catching in these paint filters I'm to filter my urine through. The stones end up about like grains of sand. The lithotripsy went pretty good. The were able to get both stones on the right side last night. Still need to get follow up x-rays to confirm full results, but from what they said last night it was successful. I did have to hit the vicadins a couple of times last night though. The pain seemed worse than the original attack. Haven't had any pain today, knock on wood. Been pissing like a race horse though. Between the bags of IVs last night and all the water I've gone through, it's a nonstop trip to the bathroom. Now I have to get scheduled for the 9mm in the left kidney and hope it doesn't do any rolling before that appointment.
Thanks for all the responses guys, and good to see nbender back on the board.
