I too read a P64 post on the Makarov forum over at gunboards last December. It referenced this great P64 site and I've been coming here every since.

I was researching the Hungarian P63 on a Makarov website and saw mention of a smaller more compact pistol called the P-64, so I googled it and here I am.
Glad I found this site. Good work!

A HEARTY welcome to our new members! We are all glad to have you as a part of the P-64 "family". This is the place to ger answers to all (we hope) questions about this great pistol! We are also fortunant to have several members from Poland, with some in the Polish Military. These guys have been a great source of information and help. In the US, there is not much information on the pistol and they have provided much needed help and assistance.
Take a few minutes and read all the posting so far; you will be amazed at the information collected so far. Also, print out a copy of the Maintenance Manual which is free to registered members. Again, glad to have you and please come back and post often!

On the makarov site. Joined as soon as I found this site.
I have a CZ-52 and a Russian Makarov IJ-70.
I will be ordering a P-64 on Tuesday from MAKAROV.COM.
I find that I carry the Makarov more than my 9mm Glock.
The P-64 will for my pocket back-up.
Stay safe.

Back-up, huh? That's what I said. Now I tend to carry my P-64 more than my Glock 27 and way more than my Mak.
