How do you put an Avatar into your profile?

onapar,

Go to your "Profile" (located near the top of the page), click on the "Modify Profile". Scroll down and you will see an "Avatar" link. IN this area, add the location of the Avatar, or photo you want posted and add to your Profile. If I could do it, it has to be easy, LOL

If you have any problems, come back ond one of the more experienced computer guys can help out. My Avatar is a photo I have stored on "Photobucket" of my German MG42 on a WWII German Lafette tripod. Photobucket is a free photo hosting site. Just do a search for "Photobucket" on Yahoo and you will find their website. Follow the instructions on registering and then forward any photos you have to the site. Once they are on Photobucket, copy the URL to the Forum box and it will apprear.

Thanks Abwehr I fooled around and got it done but not a very good picture.

No problem, my Avatar looks like one of the Star Wars mechincal spider machines when it is an MG42 on a tripod, LOL!
