Here is the latest photo of a P64 of mine with sight dots. I got the special paint from KG Industries.
It has made a difference for me at the range.

Great sight dots -- do you have a web sight link to this company?

TTh, My CZ-82 has white dots, but your dots look brighter. Since you have seen the white dots on a CZ-82, are your dots really that much brighter? Thanks Don

Could we paint over the CZ-82 white dots or would they have to be removed first? Even if I just wanted to reapply a brighter white, would I need to remove the current painted dots?

Yes it can be applied over an existing sight or regular steel. Prep the area with rubbing alchohol first then use. The dots can be removed and re-applied whenever. It is very bright but does not glow in the dark though.

Does Site Kote seem to be fairly durable?

It's ok. But not permanant. It stands up to general use and regular cleaning. However, I use a simple green degreaser and that seems to make it want to chip off after a few cleanings. The little bottle has enough to do probably 10,000 guns so you will never run out of it and it takes a few minutes to apply and dries in about 10 min in front of a fan. I am thinking about using the Florescent Duracoat orange which would be permanant and highly resistant to all solvents.

TTH,

I bought some "Testors acrylic paint at Wally World back some time ago, its for model cars/air plains and such, @ $.97 cents ea and it works well for me. I usually clean the outside of my pistols with Eezox, and really don't have a problem with the paint coming off, but in time they all do come off, but usually I just chip if off and change colors. Just my $0.97 worth.
