You should be proud of her.
If my wife did that I'd happily give her a P-64.
But then again, I don't have one.... a wife that is.

Congratulate her...I wish I could get my wife involved with my interests. Oh yeah and good for you too.

How, or why, did you marry "Your Wife" if your common interest were not similar??? Much less, trying now?? or wishing...

Maybe she was a good ... cook?

And thank you.

My wife already has a new 38 five shot subbie wheel gun with
a lightweight frame & hammerless, so no snag in her purse.

Because she did some things REALLY GOOD...before we got married. How, or why, did you marry "Your Wife" if your common interest were not similar??? Much less, trying now?? or wishing...
Actually I question that sometimes myself right now as we are approaching our 50's and our children are almost grown and on their way out of our home. I see where many can have problems with an empty nest. For 25 years we have centered our lives around our children and now we have to start learniong about each other all over again. And my wife has been ill for several years now and that has pulled us together somewhat, you know support mode but actually pushed us apart with whatever free time we do have.
So that's how you get where I am.

Out of all the answers we get on a day to day basis, The truth, is rarely heard in that statement. Thanks for an honest reply, I fear getting married for some of the same. I even let an oncologist go after three years of life together and engagement. Some said I was a fool, but over the long haul, I followed the Truth,,,,

Remember one important thing by not getting married you are definitely missing out on many wonderful events that will take place when you have that someone next to you. You may not always get along or always enjoy the same things but you will always find things that you will enjoy together especially if the time comes to have a family.
To avoid the "problems" of living with someone as husband and wife or whatever your arrangment may someday be is to avoid the "pleasures" that ultimately outnumber those problems over time. Maybe marrage isn't for everyone but I certainly think there is someone out there for everyone and as they say" it is better to have and not need than need and not have". Well the same holds true it is better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all. I would be a lonely, lonely man right now without my wife (even with all of her problems) and my kids. I'd have a hell of a lot more money in the bank but...it is nice to come home to them and to have someone to take care of as well as to take care of you.
With all of the crap going on in the world you can always count on family to get you through and this P64 forum of course !!
Sorry for the long sermon.
