Who here on this forum has the worst/roughest looking P-64? I just got a few bad ones in and was wondering who else has a rough looking one.

Troy,

I think there is a rule or something on this board that there isn't any "Ugly" P-64's............ ;D..............they are all beautiful!!! May I ask where you purchased these "rough" looking P-64's?

No not "ugly", just rough looking... I get some from RSR and some from SOG. These came from SOG.

Troy, My 76 is probably the roughest. When I got it home and cleaned it up it revealed a lot of scratches/wear and appeared to be used quite a bit as well as having some smithing (Filing) done to it by someone. The rifling is nice though. OTD for $139 and it works just as good as the others so I can't complain to much.

there are no ugly ones like papabear said......but the last one I got from sog was terrible...standard answer was send it back and etc which actrually is too much $ and trouble I reblued mine and put zee grips and it is now great..I might add that was my last purchase from SOG and did a bunch of gun and ammo with them they didnt care so why should I support that...sorry to be negative I am done...

Ok, I was going to make it a surprise after everybody posted photos of there not-so-nice-looking P-64. But since this post is not going the way I thought it would I will just let the plot out.

I am going to offer a free refinishing to the whomever can illustrate the roughest looking P-64. All they pay is $12 shipping to me (FFL holder) you can ship direct to me and vice-versa.

I am doing this to make someones day by having a new looking P-64 for free since it will have been one that looks kinda not so nice.

The refinishing includes:
1. Dissasembly
2. Degreasing
3. Sandblast relevent metal parts (not internal ones obviously)
4. Sandblast Grips
5. Parkerize Manganese Black
6. Duracoat Semi-Gloss Black
7. Reassembly
8. Red Dot Safety
9. Bright Orange Dot Sights

Here is how it will look.

Troy, I won't be able to post pics till Sunday night or Monday. I haven't taken any of the 76 since it was the last one I picked up.

I'll take pictures as soon as I get back from the truck ride.

Do think para cord is strong enough to use to drag my P64 behind my truck or should I use steel cable?
