Bartos' Mainspring Revelation

Post by b52stan »

Today in his disassembly thread, bartos answered my heavy mainspring question for once and for all. It was the hard primers early on, and they used single action most of the time. He says that improving the DA, though, is a good idea.
Recommend going to his new thread under General Discussion.
I'll bet he was thinking "even Americans have a good idea once in a while". I sure have enjoyed his contributions to this board.

That could help explain the heavy DA pull on them. I understand that the Mak's pull is fairly heavy also.
I put the the Walther spring in and am really interested on how its going to work. Supposed to go shooting next week.
