Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm glad you're enjoying your holsters so much.
;D

Since so many folks are clamoring for mag carriers, I'm going to do a little research and see if I can come up with something worth using.

ishi,

Received my Firebrand holster today and I like it, and it fits my P-64's just great and my Makarov's just great too, and I got a big surprise when I put my Star BM in it and it fit's great too....... ;D......Great little holster, very soft leather, very comfortable to wear, outstanding value for the price. If I would change anything it would be to make the belt loop a little bigger, but all my dress belts fit it just fine. I am very happy with it, THANKS!!!

Hey guys, isn't the thumb break usually on the inside not the outside of the holster? I just noticed that, does it effect the draw or the motion or releasning the thumb break when drawing the weapon?? I was looking at the new postings and the photos just caught my eye...it certainly isn't the first time I read this thread!!

I don't know about that but if you look at the first picture posted on the first page of this thread...the thumb break is reversed.

Now maybe there is a reason for that, just the design. If it works then great, I just realized it and found it strange.

Anyone have concerns or problems using this holster? I haven't heard any complaints to date so I guess it works.

Ishi: Why the switch from the norm in the thumbbreal design (poistioning)?

I believe these are IWB holsters. I could be wrong though.

searcher36 is correct, ........its a IWB holster, I took the pic of the inside of the holster, the outside is the side with the thumb break and belt loop. I am right handed, so this also works as a cross draw. The original pic of the holster on page one is the same as the one in my three pics, I just took the pic of the holster showing the side that fits against the body. Sorry I confused y'all.......... ???

Norm,

I'll take the blame for the confusion, its the way I took the pic, I took it from the wrong side, here's how I should have taken it. It's the same holster as the one in the pic from page 1 that ishi posted. Sorry for the confusion guys.

Carguy is right... The thumb-break is on the "wrong side" of the normal thumb-break against your body. In a panic condition trying to get to your weapon quickly you will fail getting it out in a fluid motion. I have never seen a holster done that way that I can recall.

I don't know about that but if you look at the first picture posted on the first page of this thread...the thumb break is reversed.

Now maybe there is a reason for that, just the design. If it works then great, I just realized it and found it strange.

TTH,

To each his own, I find it very easy to use, I understand your and carguy thoughts on this, however, the leather is very soft and trying to break the snap from it being next to the body for me would create a problem breaking it free, I have tried it and it works great for me......but you are right, it is different.
