Widener's p83

Post by Dan019 »

Just aFYI.
Widener's is selling Wanad P83 with holster, cleaning rod & 2 magazines for $200 with free shipping.

I got one and except for some finish wear they're nice.

Hi all, I'm new here and a new owner of 3 p83s from Wideners.
I'm happy with the guns I received, One is super nice, the other shows a little wear, and the last one shows heavy use but seems to be the best shooter of the three. "the most accurate".
Even though I think the price of the guns was great, I'm a little unhappy with Wideners because they advertised the p83s with cleaning tool and holster, I received no cleaning tools and when I called them they said sorry but the last shipment of p83s came without the tool, and offered nothing else. They changed their ad the day before I called.

Welcome to the forum, cleaning tools can be had on GB from Poland for $8 shipped and they are the same as the P64 tool.

The cleaning rod for the P-83 has a longer tip than the rod for the P-64.
The P-83 has a little longer barrel than the p-64. Do you think the P-64 tool would still work?
The P-64 has a 84.6mm barrel and the P-83 barrel is 90mm long.
Thanks.
Bill

Thanks for trying, it woulda been nice if it had worked.
I'm thinking of getting a P-64 after I recover from spending the money on these 3 guns.

I bought two of the P-83's from Wideners several months ago, and am very please with both. One is in my carry rotation, as I like it that much. Both mine came with holster and cleaning rod.

The three p83s I got from them, one looked unused, one looked slightly used, and one looked very used. What's funny is the one that looks the worst, is the best shooter of the three.

Ok, I took the plunge and ordered one. I like that it comes with two mags, but I'd like to get two more. Anybody know where to find extras? I've got a couple extra P64 mags I could trade, if anyone's interested?
