I bought a pa-63 ($91.00) from auction arms and the seller listed one problem he said it needs a "shell ejector" can anyone help me out with this one?

Do you mean ejector or extractor? The ejector is just a nub on the end of the slide lock. In either case, you can probably find the part(s) on buymilsurp.com. If you don't find it listed under PA-63, check under AP-7. All the parts except the barrel should interchange.

If it's the slidelock that's missing, you'll probably need a new slidelock spring, too.

If it's the extractor, make sure you have the extractor retaining pin, spring, and safety detent pin. All of those parts are held in by the extractor.

Mine rather quickly broke a FP spring and a trigger return spring. So you might want to look into buying spares for those while you're at it. Actually Wolff makes good FP, main, and recoil springs.

"Do you mean ejector or extractor?"

I don't know, It hasn't arrived yet and the seller only listed what he called "shell ejector" when I have it in hand I will look up the parts.

Thanks for the reply, it looks like the rest of our regulars just couldn't be bothered!

If it's the shell ejector then I highly doubt it's the extractor. I looked on one of those milsurp websites the other night as well as gunbroker and did not find anything available for purchase. You're going to be waiting a while unless you can fabricate something yourself.

Just got it today and it is the extractor, and extractor plunger. At least the spring is available.

You may try a feller in Arkansas. Gun Garage is the name of his business, saw him at a couple gunshows in Park City, KS and he's pretty helpful. (479) 524-2038 is his number. Can't remember his name off the top of my head though. If he doesn't have it, he can sometimes point you in a direction where you may find it. I'll keep my eyes peeled and if I see anything, I'll reply back on here.

Edit: I think his name is Al, Al Bolduc. < Something like that.

Numrich lists the extractor, spring and plunger (pin).
Look under Kassnar, PMK or Interarms, PPH.
The safety plunger can be made from a drill or a ball bearing the correct diameter.

Chimera sure is right. I had read that Numrich had them under a different name but couldn't for the life of me remember it. - http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Pro ... atid=10186

No difference, the barrel is the only part that is different between a 9X18 and a .380 FEG.
