9x18 PA 63

Post by Widowmaker »

Hi guys, i recently purchased a case of 9x18 silverbear 94 grain from a local gun dealer.

Now two of the boxes in the case only say 9mm 94 grain and do not have 9x18 on them. The bullets look identical. Are these safe to shoot in a pa 63.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Might look at the cartridge case itself and see what it says.

Cartridge case both say 9mm mak and has same stamp thingy, i cant make out what it is . There also both 94 grain.

The Boxes numbers match up (A918RHPN)

I think there the same, but just those two boxes dont say 9x18 on them. And it dont say 9mm luger.

Here is difference in pictures of the box's

That's interesting. It does say 9mm Makarov, properly identifying it and obviously the headstamp IDed it properly too. I see that label also does not list "Made in Russia". Wonder if those boxes are for a different export market than the US or just an earlier printing?

same product, just different packaging

they'll shoot fine in the PA-63, I just bought 10 boxes of the same ammo for mine

the headstamp logo is the logo of Barnaul, the company that makes the ammo for Silver Bear
