CZ-82 Magazine Baseplates

For the mags on my CZ82, there are two different baseplates. One is thin stamped steel, and the other is a thicker composite (appx 1/4 in.) baseplate. Does anyone know if the thicker baseplates are for sale as a separate part?

CZ Model 82 magazines are the same as the model 83. Call/Write CZ-USA and ask if they are available. They are pretty good about responding. Unfortunately they also tend to charge a lot for parts and accessories.

I've been wondering if CZ-USA carries CZ82 replacement mag parts for YEARS, now. I finally broke down and emailed them, I'll let you guys know what I find out.
