Pirate, That 1st cz 82 is a real beauty, if you don't mind what type of wood and finish is on those grips. Thanks Ron

Its red wattle with a red shellac finish. Dennis can also do the CZ emblem and you can get them with or without finger groves.

pirate,

Very nice start, the duracoat finishes and Dennis grips are very nice.

So far I haven't had to refinish any of my 9x18's but I feel that the duracoat method is one I might use if need be, thanks for sharing with us pic's of your to date 9x18 collection, your off to a really good start.

Here is my 9x18 collectionle

Nice work! I have done some Duracoat on my CZ-82s but until I get moved into a place with some room to work I decided to strip the old paint and cold blue a few. The results seem to be decent imo.

I tend to get carried away at times tho. :o

I certainly don't think you're getting carried away. But, I'm using MY standards, not my wife's ( Ol' What's her name??) It's like asking if you have too many iced brew pops(beer) on hand on a hot summer's day.

Maybe not too bad yet, but it all started when I got that C&R license.

Here's a few more but....

Quite a bag of tricks ya' got there. Remember when your mom might have let you play with someone who had mumps or measles, so you would get it and get it out of the way?? Gee, I'd like to catch this C&R flu, get to collect and shoot guns?? Tough, but someone has to do it. Guess, I'll make the supreme sacrifice.

You guys have some sweet looking 9x18s!! Pirate, I just sent my CZ82 off to the gunsmith for the exact same matte black Gun Kote. Can't wait to get it back. I' will probable do the same with my other CZs and Bulgy Maks.

Guys, you can never have enough pistols. ;) Gotta have one in each hand, and several placed around your person nowadays. :o

Pirate, Papabear & Blackbear. Man some super pistols for sure. I do like the new finishes each of your pistols are wearing. I am opting for either the matte duracote or the brushed chrome like Norm puts on his P-64s. Wish that I could find someone local that does the old S & W charcoal blued finish like what is on my J frame model 49 S & W bodyguard. That finish has held up the best so far. :) Sgt P.

Only one so far, grips, of course, by Dennis. It's hard to get 9x18 pistols here in Kommiefornia. I got this one just before it dropped off "the list".

Hey papabear I like your belt clip on that 64. What brand is it and where can I find one? I think I would like to have the pistol ride a little lower, any problem with mounting one a little higher on the slide?
