P-64 Comparison Shot with G26,G43, or FNS9C?

Post by Splat »

Hello. I'm very interested in picking up a P-64 but no one near me has one to handle. I'm trying to realize how big or small the P64 is. If anyone has both a P64 and Glock G43 or G26 or FNS-9C could you please post a picture of the two (or three) guns together so I can get a feel for the size of the P64? Thank you very much.

I have the FNS 9C and the FEG SMC-918 (Expeort version of the APK9) which is almost identical the P64.

SMC-918
OAL - 165mm (6.5") (6-1/2")
Barrel - 86mm (3.4") (3-25/64")

P64
OAL - 155mm (6.10") (6-7/64")
Barrel - 85mm (3.35") (3-11/32")

OG17, thank you! It appears the grip length is very close between the two, well without the FNS's pinky extension, no?

Yes, but that can be misleading. The 9C's grip is thicker and gives you more surface area to grip it firmer. It's a better grip than the P64/SMC-918. The P64 is more conducive to one hand shooting than the 9C although I can shoot the 9C with one hand as well. It's more of a point and shoot gun than the 9C. One thing you don't get with the 9C that you get with the others is hammer/slide bite.

Thanks. I should've said I own an FNS9C and for me, it's a 1000% winner. I put a mountain bike tube on the grip and it's even better, which I didn't think could happen. I would pro'lly try the same on the P64 to help with the recoil and yes, to get a little more grip thickness.

forget the inner tube, get Russ's Polish Iron grips, they give you all yoir talking about AND they look very cool too. And much better than the stock grips.
