BACK TO BACK MAKS

Post by fully machined »

I hardly ever see an East German Makarovs for sale around here, but I am always looking.
Then these two poped up in different shops miles apart and happened to have the nicer import stamp. Top is a 1960 bottom is a 1961.

Nice. What did you have to give for them, if you don't mind my asking?

$250 for the 60, pistol only.
$321 for the 61 with holster, extra mag, extra set of bulgy star grips.
I did not have to think about it long, especial on the 1960.
First I've seen for sale around here in about 2 years.
They had the 1960 sitting next to a PA-63. Both were the same price.
Being a rocket scientist a thought the Mak was the better deal.

Yeah. Those are good deals. $250 is a good price on 'em lately, and especially in the last week. :(
