Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II - 45 caliber - 3" Barrel

Post by robalan » October 11th, 2010, 9:15 am

I just bought a Kimber Crimson Ultra Carry II (update, now there are two :D ). It is of course a 45 and to my surprise has very good control and accuracy with only a 3 inch barrel. The last picture is our Polish P64 over the Kimber. That is what I call a small package 45.

Basically perfect out of the box. It does not feel like a 45, more like our 9mm Mak. I have small hands and the grip is perfect! I was able to shoot as well as I do with the Sig P232 the first time out. Remington JHP 230GR was true to the laser sight. I also shot a mag full of the Hornady Critical Defense 185GR. They landed in a close group, but a little low.
